    Hello all,

    I am trying to install the eLicenser control center on my new PC (recent hardware, windows 10 pro), and I keep getting this error message on start:

    2020-07-15T12:05:53.040
    DCOM connection to program 'Synsopos.exe' failed.
    Cette interface n’est pas prise en charge (0x80004002)

    I am not very skilled in IT, I need a little help understanding what's going on, please :) I tried reinstalling, didn't work.

    Hi,

    Please try following:
    1. Uninstall the eLicenser Control Center
    2. Open the TaskManager and go to "Details". Order the list by name
    3. Terminate all processes named "synsopos.exe" by clicking on the process and then "end process"
    4. Download and install the latest version of eLicencer Control Center here: www.elicenser.net

    Hi Ben,

    Thank you for your answer! Unfortunately, I don't see any processes, tasks or anything under details or any other tab that is named "synsopos". After a search, I'm not even sure there's a file named synsopos on my PC ':) could that be the problem?

    I'm stumped. I have an organ piece to render and I am starting to panic a little bit.

    Any other idea?

    If there is no process named synsopos running, I would suggest to reboot the system after uninstall, check the TaskManager again, and if everything is clear install the latest eLicenser version.

    Always a good idea to right click on the installation file and choose "Run as Administrator"

    Ok, I did that, still getting the error message on program start. Not even possible to run maintenance.

    A little more about my computer: ASUS Rog Zephyrus G14 with AMD RYZEN 9 4000 series, running windows 10 pro. Not sure I have any Synchrosoft stuff installed anywhere on the computer, so could that be the problem? Could the Synsopos.exe file be missing, not the opposite?

    Someone on Facebook found the solution:

    Deactivate auto-set time in windows preferences. It works now :)
