  • Mir Pro24 and Studio one V4 Prof

    Hi,

    i have a problem which i can´t solve. I have createt a orchestral template in Studio one prof and routed the reverb mostly on the bus chanels with MirPro24. I have setup the reverb on the grafic side of MirPro with all the directions etc... but most of the time the reverb was gone when i start a new session and the instruments where completely dry without reverb. I can´t see any reactions when i open MirPro in the inserts...

    At the moment the only solution to get back the reverb in th bus chanles was to delet the insert of MirPro and create a new insert but on the next time the reverb doesn´t work either it was shown in the inserts but that was very frustrating and a waste of time. Can someone help my to get this problem solved?

  • Hi Bernd,

    I have no first-hand experience to rely on when it comes to Studio One, so I can just guess what's wrong.  First of all - could you please tell us to what size the MIR engine's latency is set to in its Preferences? While you're at it: Is "Dynamic Processing" switched on or off there?

    Apart from that: What's the global latency of your audio driver set to? Is there some nifty "pre-processing" done by Studio One to reduce the actual CPU load? Do you run into the same problem when you use MIR Pro in audio channels directly, rather than in busses?

    first thank you for your help. I have tried to attach a screenshot from the Mirx settings and the settings of my Audiobox. A Presonus speciality is the low latency monotoring which allos you to reduce your latency, this i what i have switched on.

    This phenomen you can see on both, on bus chanels or on single instruments. At the moent i try to record a cornet which i have positioned on the balcony in the back, so i can´t use the normal brass reverb from the "normal" positioned brass instruments but i have stopped it. I have first to solve this problem. I use a Windows 10, 64 bit system.

    i´ve tried so change the latenca on my Audiobox device and in the MIrx settings without success. Have you some idea? I think i create a ticket.

  • Yes please, it's certainly the best idea to get in contact with VSL's support team directly. I have no means to test Studio One here at the moment.
