  • MIR Pro 24 / Slave

    Hello

sorry for the newbie question but i've downloaded a demo of Mir Pro 24 with the Teldex venue and i completely fell in love ! What a awesome piece of software ! But pretty heavy, even on a brand new 16 cores macpro, Mir hits the processors at about one third on a pretty small Cubase session ( V1, V2, Violas, Celli and Dbasses)

This heavy-load could be the main drawback for me...

    So my question is :

Is it possible to put only Mir Pro on a slave machine completely dedicated to the processing of Mir ? Like having an external reverb unit...

    Thanks a lot

    cheers

  • Hi,

Yes, MIR PRO is seemless integrated in VEP!

Cool ! Thanks for your reply Ben.

So what would be the process ?

    Actually, my set-up includes a master computer ( macpro ) and a slave ( macmini )

I'd like to keep my VEP orchestral template in the master computer with my DAW and have only Mir Pro in the slave.

So am i supposed to install just VEP and Mir Pro in the macmini ? And sending ( audio feed and instruments feed) with ethernet to the macmini ?
I can't find any ressources regarding this set-up...

Thanks for your help because i'm about to pull the trigger because of the discount on MIR 😊

    All the best
