  • PRAISE for VSL and SUPPORT STAFF

[[;)]] Hello- This is to encourage the newcomers to VSL: it does take a little effort to make VSL work, as it does to make fine wine, but the results of the effort is spectacular. I believe VSL could be considered state of the art, the apex. And there could not be a better support staff. Paul, Marnix and Herb are exceptionally knowledgeable, patient, friendly and helpful. Credit where credit is due! Thanks VSL, OJ

  • I'll join you on that one, OriJames!
Been waiting for 18 years for a library like this. The great support and forum are like the caviar alongside the finest champagne!

    [H]

    Way to go, VSL!

    Alex

  • The same goes for me. VSL has great support and their libraries are outstanding.

Keep up the good work [:)]

  • Agreed. Past the preliminary 'huh... huh?' stage, is the 'WOW!! I mean.. WOW!' stage, and it'll put your EWQLSO into a state of 'gathering dust'.

These Solo Strings are the most realistic samples I've ever heard, and when you get into the grrove you'll be totally amazed at what you can do.

    Bravo!!

  • I had virtually no idea what I was getting into when I started with OPUS1 and sampling. As a keen amateur it really was a fog of confusion and conflicting advice.

I admit I have strayed and been drawn into the hard sell and group buys of other products but I have quickly realised that VSL is No 1 in almost every category: quality of product, range of product (and we've a long way to go (don't forget my euphonium Herb)), customer service and support and this forum.

It comes back to VSL's vision and commitment to their product and their customers and that above all deserves praise and some of my hard earned money. The summer special are great 29GB of solo strings for £207 - damn good value for money.

The future looks bright, the future looks VSL.

    PS don't forget my euphonium

  • Haha, looks to me as if the Vienna Team's going to have a nice day, reading
this [:D] Well, they truly deserve it!

Earlier on, after being disappointed with so many libraries (except Miroslav & Siedlaczeck, which I loved & used a lot, but still lacked many o so necessary expressions), we once planned to record our own symphonic library, and started researching, calculating... After realizing we'd not be doing anything else for at least 2-3 years and would have to get very substantial financing as well, we called it a day...

    Thank god the Vienna-team didn't!!!
