Hi everyone,
I have Synchron Player 1.1.1709 and VePro 7.0.904, working in Windows 10 Pro 10.0.18362 (updated).
I am trying to use Synchron Player both in VePro7 and directly in Cubase (updated to the last version).
After a few minutes it crashes all the time, so it is totally unusable.
What could I do?
Thanks everyone!

Synchron Player always crashes

Hi nicola74,
Please find the crash dmp file (location in your screenshot) and send it to support@vsl.co.at, so we can take a look.
This folder is a hidden system folder, make sure that you see it: Organize => Folder and Search Options => "View" Tab.
Thanks,
Paul

Paul, I have sent the mail (with crash report) to VSL support ONE WEEK AGO (Case 324983) and never got reply. Synchron Player is always causing trouble and it’s unusable until the fix.

Hi holywilly,
I also wish we could fix all bugs right away... especially on friday evenings, this feeling can get a bit overwhelming.
We are doing our very best to look at all reports as quickly as possible.
Thanks for your patience, and please accept my apologies for the delay.
Best,
Paul

This is also one thing which annoys me with the Synchron Player. It crashes all the time, both in VE Pro and as a single instance in Logic Pro X. This is also true for the standalone version.
The crash happens only after some time using the Player and switching/loading instruments. I think this is the same behaviour @nicola74 describes. I always have the latest software updates.
For me, this is not a recent behaviour, these crashes have happened since the first versions of the Synchron Player.

Hi Pixelpoet,
I can't reproduce these issues with the latest version of the Synchron Player that was released yesterday.
Please update to this version and if it still crashes, send us the crash-dump. We will take a look at this.Best, Ben
Hi Ben,
I can't see a new update, the latest version is from 10/08.

Sorry, my bad. I mixed up 18 with 08.
I had this issue three months ago on my machine. However, I did many tests with version 1709 yesterday and was not able to reproduce these crashs.
It is really helpful if you could send us crashdumps from this version, so we can further investigate this issue.Best, Ben

Hi everyone, I started working on a new Cubase template based on Synchron player this morning, because yesterday, after the new updates, everything seemed to be ok. After half an hour again Cubase crashed because Synchron player. It is starting to be very annoying, with ViPro I never had a problem, never; Synchron is totally unusable for me. It is the only piece of software giving me problems. What a shame!

Hi nicola74,
What speaks against sending us those crash reports, so we can improve the software?
support@vsl.co.at is the right address, best with reproduction steps for us (include your Cubase file, if you like), and of course with the basic information about your system.
Thanks for your input and for staying positive!
Best,
Paul

Hi Paul,
thanks for the answer.
I am sorry, but I made a big error: I didn't want to write "what a shame", but "what a pity", I am from Italy... ;-)
VSL libraries are always my first choice, ViPro Orchestral strings are still one of my prefered, old but gold.
I have a lot of your libraries and I use them every day for my work.
I will send a support ticket and hopefully this problem will be solved.
All the best,
Nicola
