When I started using Synchron Strings, I used the Vienna Instruments plugin. I removed the library from my hard drive and meanwhile VI has been replaced by the Synchron player.
I found the vienna instruments content in the download archive but it seems that I have to download the whole library a second time (next to the SY player download). Are there any patches for Vienna Instruments available that I can use with the SY Player samples?

No. But I suppose, reading descriptions by VSL, that they can't exist: the file format is different, and so the VI is not actually able of reading samples and scripts inside the synchron player format files.
