  • Synchron Player Release = A/B switch?

Question about the Release Fader in the Synchron Player.

Does this function act as sort of a cross fade for the A/B switch when Synchron Strings were in the old VI Player, meaning, it does a "ringing" or "muted" release sample?

Or, is it a typical ADSR filter like on the edit page?

  • There have been already a release slider in VI aswell. It seem as if the slider has just the same function again.

See also the mousoover infotext "Affects the release amount of each played articulation"" the two different release samples mentioned in the Synchron Strings productinfo are at least not mentioned in the text of the infobox.

  • But there is a good point with the A/B switch.

With VI Pro we had a "riniging" and a "stopped" release. Where is it in Synchron Player? It's also not mentioned in the manual. In the "old" one (for VI Pro) the different releases were mentioned as a "feature".
