  • SY player Perform rearrange

How can we organize the Perform tab, I mean having a different functions order. I can create new ones and delete others but I can't assign an existing one to Dim. control. The assignment is not available in the drop down menu, only available for a new control...

And if ever I fail and loose the DimCtrl (very 'easy' when using a tablet/stylus), I can't recover it, have to create a new slider :-/

  • Hi,

Right now it's not possible to re-arrange the order.
The work-around you mention is also the way I would do it.

There IS a very handy COPY/PASTE feature available with a right-click on the PERFORM tab that will make this much easier once you have set up the order you like.

    Best,
    Paul

  • Ok that's a math process or some light Rubik's Cube game... Ok, thank you for the copy/paste tip.

Furthermore, I don't understand why we have two Dim Ctrl to replace the unique Slot XF we had on VI...

    - Dim.Ctrl C (cc20) for Legato etc
    - Dim.Ctrl E (cc4) for Tremolo/Vibrato

Why couldn't we use the same for both ?

  • Hi,

You CAN use the structure the way you like it best.

Right now we have separated the controls for more simultaneous, ehm, control.

  • Ok great, trying to limit the number of controls for the external remotes ;-)
    Thank you Paul.

  • Having let's say two Players in VEpro6, selecting a track needs about 4s to display the relevant player, do you think this could be improved in the future ?

And is there a way to rename the Dim.Ctrl ?

    Hi,

Working on faster GUI switching right now, should be available soon.

Renaming the Dimension Controllers is not available at this point, to avoid self-produced confusion ðŸ˜‰.

Feel free to collect your input in longer postings!
