  • Legato mode question

    Hello,

I am experiencing same problem as submitted a year ago. I don't find solution:

Let's say I press down a "C" on my keyboard then I press down a "G" while still holding down then "C." This correctly triggers the legato sample for "G"
but it appears that the release of the previous note cuts off.

As result I hear a little volume decrease in legato tansitions. [*-)]:

If i try to input manually notes in Cubase happens the same.
Other legato instruments for example flute or clarinet sounds really great.

I'm using cubase SX 3.01, Gigastudio 3.04 and Perf tool 2.11

    Thank for help or suggestions

    Peter

please give me a little more details, you didnĀ“t say, which instrument you are talking about....

Unfortunately you have not registered any of your products on our website (at least I couldnĀ“t find you under your email adress), so I donĀ“t even know, which platform you are using.

Please be so kind and register your products here: http://www.vsl.co.at/user/start.asp?Lang=1">http://www.vsl.co.at/user/start.asp?Lang=1, then contact me at p.steinbauer@vsl.co.at.

    IĀ“ll be happy to help.

    All the best,

    and:

    http://community.vsl.co.at/viewtopic.php?p=36445&highlight=release#36445

I have changed the release time and added the contol wheel as controller.

After saving in Giga 3 many new instruments combinations appears !! [:O]

    As most interesting I found VI-14_perf_leg_p_f_2Lay [[:D]] [[:D]]
With the mod wheel it blends between piano and forte legato.
I suggest this should be present in pro edition.
