Legato and repetition

I'm trying to repeat tones in legato mode for a simple phrase.

In the performance tool notes it says 'The repetition keyswitch: If you want to repeat a tone in your legato plsy, simply trigger this keyswitch before you repeat the tone, and the tool automatically provides you with a repetition tone.'

I'm using the cellos perf legato, and I play a note, say G3, then press and hold D1, then press G3 again, but it doesn't seem to give the desired effect. Anyone have any advice?

GIGA or EXS24?
...in EXS24 you've to press "D0" as "repetition keyswitch"...

In both, take care that the RK note, starts before, and overlaps a little bit the real note that you want to repeat...

I had the same problem... ended up that C1 according to the Performance Tool was actually C0 in my Sequencer.

Hi everyone,

AFAIK, that has to do with the MIDI standard. There is an american and a european system, so depending on your sequencer there could be an octave shift....

With the Vienna Symphonic Library, C4=middle C on your keyboard.
