    I am working on Cubase 9.0.20 and VEP 6.0.16068 on Mac OS 10.10.4 on the same machine.

    Everytime I save in Cubase, VEP also goes through a save process where it says saving automation. I am not using any automation in VEP and when I work with a larger template this makes me have a wait a while for everything to save.

    Is there a way to turn this feature off so I can save quicker?

    Nevermind, I found out pressing the decouple button fixes this.

    Hi Jeremy,

    Decouple Mode is a great feature in this regard, but bear in mind that your VE PRO data will NOT be saved with your song. Find more details about Decouple Mode in your VE PRO manual.

    With big templates, Cubase saves all possible connections, that's why this takes so long.
