  • MIR PRO as Plug In: how to delete instrument from stage?

    Hi!

I am using Logic Pro X and MIR PRO 24 as Plugin.

I am having a track with MIR PRO pluged in. I coppied the track, which created the same in the new track. So i had 2 instruments on the stage. After i deleted one of those tracks in Logic, the instrument is still on the stage. So although only having 1 of those tracks in Logic, i still have 2 instruments (one unused) on my stage in MIR PRO.

How can i delet that, as there is no function by right clicking the instrument?

    Many thanks!

  • This shouldn't happen. Are you sure that the track (and the second MIR Pro plug-in) isn't still active in Logic's "Environment", somehow? This is a constant source for confusion. ;-)

If you can't solve the issue yourself, please send the Logic file to support@vsl.co.at . My colleagues will look into it.

    Kind regards,

  • PS: A right-click option to delete an instance directly from the stage might look like a tempting option, but I think that no host/DAW will allow a plug-in to delete itself from a track.

Hmm ... how could i check this out, if it is not visible anymore in my tracks?? Environment window also shows only 1 track of that instrument ...

You mean, sending the project file? The size of that one is about 800 MB ... no chance with mail ...

    Many thanks and best wishes!

  • I don't know how a project with one virtual instrument track can still use 800 MB unless you still have some audio files in it, but you could ZIP it anyway (... that's "Compress" in OS-X-lingo) and use a free service like WeTransfer.com for sending it to VSL support.

    Kind regards,

No, there are about 60 tracks with virtual instruments. I meant this specific instrument, that shows up 2 times on stage 😉

Ok, i will check out how i can send it. Many thanks!!
