Hallo,
I bought the french oboe full library. Wonferfull!
Only one question: the oboe range should be B flat 3 to G6. Here instead it goes from A3 to F6 (F#6).
Any special reason?
Thanks for the answer
Roberto

Are you geting this information from the instrument's user's manual or did you play the range out on the keyboard? I admit that I don't know the difference between a French Oboe and French Hobo so as for the actual range of the instrument I'll take your word for it.
What I do know is that not all articulations have the same range. For example, staccatos might have a different range than say portatos or perf. legatos or trills etc. but I'm not sure for this particular instrument.
After you installed the product did you update it? Maybe this was a bug that was fixed in an update.
I know it's an inconvenience but you could always use the pitch bend as a workaround.
Thank you jasensmith,
I found out what is the problem just looking at the manual.
The G6 is the extreme note and it ask for a lot of power from the player so, realistically, not all the patches can reach it. So only the "strong attacks" can go so high. Very clever and realistic...
Thanks again
Roberto
