    Hi,

    One of the thyings I always enjoy in my VSL libraries is the depth. I am always discovering new things I can do with them.  :-)

    Recently I have been looking at some of the string patches I have not used much so far, and I am not clear what the difference is between perf legato and perf legato slur. Does normal perf legato mean a bow change for each new note? It doesn't SOUND like that, but I want to be sure. If this were true I could understand the slur version producing the interval without changing the bow.

    Can anybody clarify this for me?

    The slur patch has a soupçon of portamento between notes so you get a less clean transition.
