  • Appassionata SUS Strings in Epic Orchestra

    Hello,

    I have short question;

    Appassionata SUS strings in Epic Orchestra are from Appassionata I or II?

    And are these SUS patches exactly sounding same?

    I am asking this because all I need is a good SUS strings patch right now. So if Strings Sus patch in Epic Orchestra is sounding same as in Appassionata (which is wonderful), it will be enough for me (I don't need any other articulations such as stac, trill legato etc).

    Thanks,

    C

  • Hello Cenk,

    The Appassionata String in Epic Orchestra are mapped as a whole strings section, like this:
    Basses: B0–F2, Cellos: C2–F3, Violas: C3–F4, Violins: C4–A7 (D#7)

    The samples are taken from Appasionata Strings I, and the samples are the same samples, they sound the same, but they are organized in a different way (as a full string section). I think that´s what you are looking for, and you´ll get more articulations as well with the Epic Orchestra.

    Best,
    Paul
