    I have a two-computer system.  The master computer has Sonar X2 sequencer with VEP5 inserted as the only plug-in.  The slave computer has VEP5 server using a *.viframe64 with an EWQL Symphonic Choirs session with samples loaded and Word Builder with lyrics.

    This system used to work.  For instance, the VEP5 Server on the master computer would show available instances to connect with and would connect there.  For some reason, now there is no list of available instances, and I get no sound presumably because there is no connection.

    The Sonar MIDI (Master) shows a port for output for VEP5 ("Vienna Ensemble Pro 1") but the port list on the slave shows only "external" ports.

    Please tell me what is missing here so I can connect.

    OK, no replies, so I threw away the project and started over.  I find my instances now, the MIDI traffic travels to each instance.  Now there is a problem that is apparently on the the EWQL side (bizarre Word Builder behavior) so I'll check with EWQL......
