  • Deleting Dimension Basses Preview

Just some housekeeping. I've got files for Dimension-Basses from _001 to -062.dat

    I've ALSO got Dimension-Basses-prv_001 to _008.dat

Am I correct that I can delete the -prv files. I'm assuming they're the preview files before the full library was finished, and that all samples and instruments are now included in 001 to -062.

    Thanks.

    I'd like to know too

  • Hi,

That´s correct, all articulations  of the preview are contained in the Full download as well.

Only catch: IF you have been working with the preview files, you will need to replace the articulations with articulations from the FULL download, they won´t be replaced automatically (all articulations must be unique to avoid chaos).

    Best,
    Paul

  • Cool! the newer dat files where in a  subdirectory:

    /Volumes/SSD 2/VSL Library Location/001-Dimension-Strings/001-Dimension-Strings

So I deleted the ...prv...dat files in the first Dimension directory,  copied the newer bass files, then deleted the subdirectory.

    Tested and its all good.
