Could anyone please give their opinion, as the title states, limitations with Sibelius and the Vienna Library.
I assume most composers, orchestrators, and other users of Vienna Instruments generally use a keyboard, and trigger a multitude of articulations with a keyboard performance of a particular instrument, recording
into logic, or some DAW. I am only at this point, trying to get the best sounding rendition of my Sibelius scores. Though I have received some helpful advice from the forum, it can be a bit frustrating and daunting to duplicate what I am able to do
if just using the Vienna pro stand-alone. There is a limit to what the sound set for Sibelius can do. So here, finally is
the important question: Is it worth the investment, from the the Vienna Instruments Special Edition,Complete, to upgrade to the
Single Instruments, in particular, the Solo strings, Orchestra Strings, and Chamber strings if I am only using what the Sibelius Soundset is able to do?
Thanks
I am looking forward to hearing from all of you.
