Would really like the ability to have a metaframe load as soon as VEPro starts. I am thinking this is not possible currently - that correct? Maybe make this a feature req?
Cheers.

Why not just launch the metaframe you want loaded? That will start up VEP and load the metaframe :)
Hey SR. What you say is true, BUT....
My slave always houses the same metaframe. In fact, the past two years, in my slave, I have not once used anything but the mframe associated with my template. I have the VEPro .exe located in my startup folder, so that VEPro starts with Windows. I then have to manually open the mframe. Not exactly a ton of work there, but it would be really cool if I did not have to do that. I press the computer's power button, Windows boots, VEPro launches, and my mframe opens. I know how long it takes to load - 4 min (friggin' PLAY :/ )... once that 4 min is up, I would launch Cubase and open my template, or the prev day's project and get to work. Again, loading the mframe in my slave is far from a PITA; it would just be cool if VEPro had a "load last project on program start" feature.
Cheers.
I'm on the mac side i have added my metaframe file to my startup items. Everything just works it loads up server 64 and im off an running. Im sure you can do the same in windows.
This is fairly easy to do on the mac side.
1 Go under the apple menu and into system preferences.
2 open users/Groups control panel click the lock to unlock the preferences so you can change things. put in your computer password as requested.
3 Click on your user account. then on the Login items tab to the right of the password tab .
4 hit the plus (+) sign at the bottom of the list and choose your metaframe file.
This will make it launch the metaframe after login. NOTE you can also set auto login under the Login Options on the same screen if you want this to just hit power and have it boot login and launch metaframe without intervention.
AHA! :)
So, in Windows, you do this by putting the item in the Programs\Startup folder.
Originally, I had the VEPro .exe in there, so the app would start with Windows. I have removed that, and replaced it with the .mframe. Now, when I boot into Windows, the OS "starts" the mframe file - which in turn launches VEPro. Same as dbl-clicking the mframe file in Windows, when VEPro has not yet been launched.
Awesome! I am not sure why I didnt think of doing this, but I thank you for your time.
Cheers.
