  • Lowering the volume of the actual bowing sound

I want to control the sound of the bowing (hairs on the string). With what can I do this? When equalizing is necessary which frequency should I lower with some dB's? I did some tests, but the results never satisfied (to my ears).

It is for Solo Strings, Violin, Full sample lib.

    Hoping this is clear,

    Raymond

  • Try somewhere in the 250 - 300 Hz area.

That's a frequency range I often like to boost because you can never have enough bow sound, I love it ... [:)]
