Last VEP-Version that supports Windows XP

Hey all, I wonder where I can download the last VEP version 5 that works with Windows XP.upgrading the OS of my old PC is not an option because it's components are too old but it still helps me out when resources are running out on my main daw. Is it possible to get that file from the support? Cheers Tom

Hi Tom, 

The current version of VE PRO 5 (5.2.12844) works fine on Windows XP 32 bit (NOT on XP 64 bit), although WIN XP is not actively supported.

Hi Paul, thanxs for your immendiate reply. Unfortunately I get an error (wlanapi.ddll missing) when I try to start vep-server after install. No 64 bit version of XP on that machine ... Already did a search via google ... but no really helpful information. Installing V4.x was no problem ... Any hints? Anyway many thanks! cheers tom ps.: Happy new Year btw. :-)

Hi,

That´s strange, I remember the wlanapi.dll problem with Vista, but not with Win XP. You can always try with one of the stable VE PRO 5 versions in our archive.
