If I insert VEP5 on the first track for example and then put a VI into it everything plays perfectly. However, when I add a second VI track in either Logic or Pro Tools (whichever) I'm using, and make this second track the active track (with record turned off on the VEP5 track 1) I still end up playing the sound in the VEP5. I am new to VEP, but I have done this before and playing a new track did not engage VEP. Is there a setting that somehow I inadvertently changed? What can I do so that VEP does not sound when I am playing a new track.
Thank you,
paul

Strange Problem with VEP5 and Logic X or Pro Tools 11

Problem solved: Somehow in the VEP Preferences I must have enabled all of my midi inputs (i.e.. the 7 keyboards coming into Logic or Pro Tools). Lesson learned: they have to be disabled when using them with a DAW (enabled only when using VEP as a standalone.
