    HI,

    Please add the folowing cell control:)

    1- After touch

    2- Rpeated note, if the same midi note is replayed, the user can chose to pot for the repeated performance articulation. so a repeate performance cell can be assigned to a repeated note control.

    3- A universal cell control. In addion to the X and Y cells, A universal cell would great to asign an articulation to. For example: Say the universal cell is the portamento, the X and Y cells contain Short, Long, etc articulation, with a controler assigned to the unversal cell, one can alwys access the protamento no matter where you are in the X and Y cells.

    4- Trill cell, similar to the universal cell this cell is special cell, in this cell you would load the performance trill articulation, if you play a note, and hold it down, when another note is played the Trill cell takes over. remember this is different than the universal cell because the univesal cell is assigen to a controler . the VIP will automatically play the repetion betwenn the selected note, and the depending hon how fast you play the next note while holding doen the first one, that will determin the playback of the trill samples and thier intervals.

    OK, here are my thoughts:

    1. Agreed, although I would have no use for it.
    2. If I'm understanding you, this is already possible, as you can choose which of the repetitions to use. If you want a cell with just the Rep, then click the appropriate red button in the GUI to knock out the start note, and the rep will always play. Is this what you want?
    3. Portamento only makes sense when used with Sustain or Performance legato. You can already set up your matrix to access Portamento from anywhere. If it was an articulation that would be used from every patch, I would say you could have a point, but it is so specialist that I don't see the need.
    4. For me trills are just even faster transitions than the er, fast ones. No need for something special.

    1-Am glad you agree :) I have a use for it :)

    2-Yes you can click, but the idea is no just play and when a note is repeated is played then the repetition cell is activated.

    3-lets say you create short articulations on the X axix, Long notes on the Y axis, how can you jump any time to a portamento cell with just one contoler ? please keep in mind that controlers are used for both X and y axix, such as speed control , velocity, not key switches. 

    4- again the idea to minimaize contolers or keyswitched, for more of live performance.
