    There is Channel Sets and in most VIs you can store your user presets. So, could anybody explain the idea behind the "Presets..." menu above the left top corner of 3rd party VIs. Where are those presets stored (OS X), and do they bring someting else to the table?

    They are AU user presets, so only valid for that specific plugin, whereas Channel Sets are a set of VE Pro channels (which can contain multiple plugins and so on). I don't remember on the spot where these AU user presets are stored though.

    The path (OS X) is: Home/Library/Audio/Presets/
