Hi everyone,
I'm trying to automate parameters on my EWQLSO PLAY plugin on VEP, using a midi controller (Korg NanoKontrol). I'm working in DP 7.24.
This actually works perfectly with the first instrument I have loaded in PLAY, on channel 1. I open up the Automation mapping window in VEP, use the dropdown window on the source to find the parameter I want to control (the Learn button does not work). Then I press the Learn button to the right of the Destination bar, move a fader or turn a knob on the NanoKontrol and it all works perfectly. But the problem is that it works only on channel 1 of the PLAY plugin. I've tried every which way to control the parameters on the other channels, but the knobs and sliders on the NanoKontrol only affect channel 1 and none of the other channels.
I have VEP set to Midi In - omni and Channel - omni. The PLAY channel in the channels window is set to Midi Port: all, and Midi Channel: all.
In DP, I have the NanoKontrol channel 1 as the input on a midi track; the output is whatever channel in PLAY I'm targeting. And I've armed the track. But no matter which channel that is (1-3), it's always only channel 1 that is affected.
It would be nice to be able to control some channel volume sliders using the NanoKontrol, instead of having to draw it in manually in DP. I have a keyboard controller -- a Yamaha S90 -- but that doesn't offer very much in terms of sliders or knobs.
I've saw this post but it just didn't work this way for me.
Any ideas?
Thanks for all your help!
