    Hi all

Dorma Bain is a famous Swiss Song. I used the last days of 2011 for finishing this arrangement for Orchestra.

Unfortunately, the piece comes a bit late - because it contains a bit the "Sound of Christmas"

Nevertheless, I wish you a lot of fun and of course: All the best for 2012!

    Dorma Bain - for orchestra (mp3, ~10MB)

    Used instruments:

    • Soprano (VSL-Choir - all voices)
    • Alto
    • Tenor 1
    • Tenor 2
    • Bass 1
    • Bass 2

  • Hi Beat,

That sounds absolutely great. I love the sound you are able to get with your string arrangements. Also, which choir did you use for the recording ? I don't see it listed but it certainly sounds effective. All the best for 2012 and thanks for the belated Christmas sounds.

  • Love the choir and the bells. I'll have to get this choir package, it sounds excellent...

  • Hi all

There is a youtube version as well now - with an orchestra-animation.

    Have fun

  • Hi Beat,

I love the video representation which provides a great insight into the various sections of the song in terms of the instruments (choir sections) you have chosen. I knew I liked the sounds you were getting but this really helps to explain for me how the sounds are made up. Thank you so much for putting this together and posting this.

    Regards,

         Tom
