New Sibelius sound set for VSL String collections!

The new sound set "VE Strings" will work with the following Vienna Instruments collections:
Solo Strings I+II
Chamber Strings I+II
Orchestral Strings I+II
Appassionata Strings I+II
Please use it with the latest version of the Vienna Symphonic Library House Style and take a look at the new version of the "Optimizing Sibelius Playback" manual on details how to use it.

The most important advantages in comparison tho the previous strings sound sets are:
- All strings collections work with one sound set and therefore all strings collections can be used with one Vienna Ensemble (Pro) instance.
- Additional articulations like detache, repetitions and sffz are included by default.
- Custom cells: It's now possible to add articulations that are not included in the VI presets by default.
- The VI presets already include Velocity X-Fade in order to enable realistic dynamic changes.

Can't get the combination ''con sord.'' and ''detache'' to work. Do you have a special trick to make it work?

Hello Fred!

This should be easy to achieve. Just create two technique text commands. "con sordino" (or "mute") and "detache". It works perfectly well here.

Hi Guys, I see only "Sound Set Vienna Ensemble Woodwinds + Brass " on the sound set site... Where are all the other sets? Can I see them only when I have the according libraries? At the moment I have only the soprano saxophone. Thanks, Peter
