I seem to be experiencing higher latency after having VE Pro loaded longer. I've got a template loaded with about 8 instances of VE Pro and mostly an instance of Kontakt loaded into each instance. Activity Monitor shows about 2 GB of 11 GB free but after leaving VE Pro open for a while I come back and it seems there is more of a delay from when I play a note on my keyboard to when I heard the sound. If I'm trying to play staccato strings loaded in VE Pro the latency really becomes a problem. Is this normal? Happening for anyone else?
I'm running Logic Pro on a first gen Mac Pro 2.66. Currently, VE Pro is also running on the same Mac Pro with 11GB. I know running everything on one machine isn't ideal (I'll be fixing this soon) but it seems like it should be working a bit better. Latency didn't seem to be this big of an issue with other releases. I'm not sure if I have more loaded or what's going on.
