Hi there-
I'm a new user of VE Pro (about a week). I am using it w/ Pro Tools and having GREAT SUCCESS!!!!!!! I also have the full version of Logic 9 Studio installed- reason being, I was actually gonna attempt to switch DAW's after 15 years of strictly using PT because of PT's lack of VI ability, RTAS inefficiency, 32-Bit 4GB Ram Ceiling, etc. Now that I've found and am using VE Pro- I can use PT no problems- brilliant app! Just brilliant!
Anyways, my question is:
Am I able to use all of Logic's built in Software Virtual Instruments w/in VE Pro (so as to feed them to PT)? Same question about the FX that are built into Logic- can I use these in VE PRO? I've installed everything and do not see any of the Logic's built in stuff showing up in VE Pro (32bit or 64bit).
Thanks again so much.
Scott

As another new user, I am also curious about the accessibility of the Logic instruments through VEP, and Garageband instruments and Jam Packs as well. In the case of the Garageband instruments, if they are accessible, do we open the Directory Manager, hit "Add folder...", and navagate to /Library/Application/GarageBand/Instrument Library? Or am I dreaming here? There are only a couple instruments from that source I'd like to use (from Jam Packs), but those instruments would be very helpful to me. My guess is that these questions are already answered somewhere in the forum, but I was unable to locate such discussions via the search function, so I'll apologize and send my thanks in advance for any help. -futz
