Not in the manual and I can't seem to find mention of it anywhere. How do you mute an effect send?
I can make it pre fader but there is no command to mute sends.
I feel I must have missed and I'm about to be embarrassed by an easy answer!

Don't want to be frivolous with requests but muting effect sends is quite a necessity.
How else do you quickly check the dry with the wet? Especially when muting the return won't work because it has multiple sends feeding it.
I certainly hate turning the send down and losing the setting.
Are you thinking of adding this feature?

I think as your user base expands to include people from different fields.......ie Producers/mixers, you will probably need to do this.
I'm not suprised that you haven't been asked for this feature. I'm a stranger in a strange land.
Just to add to the argument let me confess that I haven't used any of your orchestral sounds for over a year. (or anyone elses)
So I'm not an orchestra user but I'm using software designed orchestral composing.
Obviously there are people from different fields now using this amazing software.
Not only is VEP an important VI host but it is becoming an environment to mix in.
Which means we want to use the mixing techniques that we learned from the past 20 years in ProTools.
Not having a mute button for a send is .................so 1980.[:)]
I take your point about muting the rev return but that's not much good when other instruments are sharing the same return. For example if I muted the rev then I wouldn't hear my instrument in context of the mix.
So......while checking the rev on a snare I still want to hear the rev on the toms, not everything dry all of a sudden. Same with orchestral stuff I would imagine.
Different strokes for different folks, and all that.

you could just automate the send level to -∞ from the sequencer and then undo after comparing wet/dry.
