    On my PC (Vista) the scales are text files in the folder:

    C:\ProgramData\VSL\Vienna Instruments Pro\Scales

    You can edit these files with a text editor.

    You can also use SCALA to make such files, a programme to generate scales ("a large amount of useful functions to suit
    most needs of both beginners and experts"
