    I have a late 2010 Macbook air and a 2008 Mac Pro.  Since the macbook air does not come with a gigabit ethernet port, I was wondering if a usb ethernet adapter would work.  Any ideas?

    Is the Ethernet /USB adapter Gigabit ????

    It claims to be, but Im not sure how that translates into USB port

    I'm curious about this as well. In my case I have a macbook that the ethernet quit working on. I'm about to purchase Ve-Pro (running the demo currently) and I'd love to able to use it.
