    Hi everyone, I just received my pro tools 9 software. Before I wa using CubaseSX2 and could load VI without a problem. Now, VI is not showing in the instruments. I'm assuming that it is because VI is not supported for RTAS. Is there any way I can fix this problem? Thank you, Ziv.

    Hi Ziv, I can't give you a definitive answer because I'm not yet using Pro Tools 9, but VSL does indeed support RTAS. I use VI and VI Pro as plug-ins in Pro Tools 8 on a Mac with no problem. They were recognized automatically as I remember. I assume you're able to open VI as a standalone, so you know that it got installed OK? Best, Steve

    Correction: All VSL plugins except VI support RTAS on Windows.

    Thank you. I use VI. That's why I can't see it in Pro tools. What plugin should I use than? I purchased Vienna special edition and i can't get download VI pro

     Maybe try using Vienna Ensemble instead.

    Indeed. You can use VE, which comes free with any VI collection.

    I have the latests VE installed on my computer. doesn't show up on pro tools.

    can anyone from the Vienna administration help out??? i think that VI with RTAS support should be availavle...

    Yes i am interested in Using teh Venna Ensemble Pro but want to make sure it can be used in Protools 9 and with Rtas?

    Yes, both VE and VE Pro support RTAS in Pro Tools 9 on both Windows and OS X.
