    Hi there.  I've been trying to reintegrate my slave PC into my VE template, and have run into an issue:  Although the hardware remains unchanged from when I had it working fine last spring, the slave isn't showing up in my Mac master computer's VE instances.  The slave is running XP and Kontakt, and running through the Ethernet switch into my Mac, running DP 7.2.  The network connection is working, as the PC is showing up as a networked computer on my Mac, but when I try to connect within DP through the VE Server Interface, the PC doesn't show up as an available slave.  

    It's probably something really simple that I'm missing, but I can't think of what it might be.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

     I'm not a mac person, but just a thought -- do you have the same version number of VE Pro running on both computers?

    I had the same problem between an xp slave and windoze 7 main computer. Can't remember, though, how I fixed it.

    Hey Mahlon, thanks for the suggestion.  That ended up being the solution, which I finally made work after two days of trying to install Vienna Ensemble, and not VE Pro.  Ahh well, it's working now.  Thanks!
