With 4 GB of RAM, Core i5 processor, VSL Special Edition and VSL Chamberstrings I std./ext. on a Cubase 64 bit 5.5.2 host, it should not be a problem to make work a romantic orchestra with wood, brass, strings and percussion?!
But -
when I playback there's always missing notes, even after letting learn every single of the 15 Vienna Instruments instances and afterwards optimize.
I played back the 8 Minutes piece hoping to get the missing notes into RAM but nope. Still missing.
Especially during tutti periods the swell (cresc.) of a horn or a trumpet is not realized although programmed in context editor via wheel. The same with the cresc. of the 1st and 2nd violins and celli.
Playing the single note by pressing the event with mouse-klick it works almost everytime the way I want it. But it does not work with tutti.
Then Reset, Learn again. Still missing swells.
