    Hi, For some reason VEP has started hanging on startup. I tried reinstalling. Could this be due to the windows update? This started happening immediately after I updated. The only thing else I changed was installing a new plugin.

    false alarm. Looks like this is an eLC problem, because Cubase hangs too, and so does eLC control center.

     Have you checked that the Firewall hasn't magically changed itself?

    eLicenser error got hidden behind the VEP loading screen. Updated eLC, moved dongles to new usb ports and all is well.
