    Hi Board,

    I'm taking the plunge and ordered the complete full version of the VSL Complete Winds ( shame it doesn't include the new brass product )

    To make the VEpro software comunicate with the slave mac do I need a fibre channel card or does this all work with just the standard ethernet connection ?

    Am I right in saying that the slave Mac won't need an audio interface as the VEpro will direct the sounds back to the master mac's Apogee Ensemble ?

    Sorry for the basic question

    All you need is a stable Gigabit ethernet connection and there is indeed no audio interface required to run the VE Pro Server.

    .... and is a Stable Gigabit Ethernet cable ..the same as the standard connection that comes with a new mac Pro ?
