    Hi there, 

    I've just got my new win machine and i'm trying to connect it over my network with my new macbook pro using VE PRO; unfortunately I don't know why the slave computer is showing up as connected (both with 32 and 64 bit server, depends what I choose) but no VE pops up to load instruments. Everything is up to date : e linceser  and VE pro on both machines ( + usb keys of course) .I use cubase 5.5 mac version.

    Does anybody has any sugestions?

    Let me see if I'm missing something: when you connect to [new] in the VE Pro plugin window/vsti rack, VE Pro fails to provide a new instance?

    Hi Civilization 3 ,

    Thanks for the reply; I was a little bit confused since I have to change my set-up switching to Mac and I forgot a lot from settings( anyway I wasn't good before either :)). Actually I had to install win 7 pro / 64 to get remote access to it from Macbook pro. Anyway, I expected to see the connection on my mac (server) but as Paul reminded me the VE pro instances will open only on slave machines. 

    So, thanks anyway..it was as usual a misunderstanding form my part...notes...computers...software...networking...I had my head bumped:))
