Hello,
I updated this afternoon my VI Pro and VE Pro to the latest versions. I use VE Pro only for a few months now and don't know much about it yet. I also updated the eLicense Control Centre to the newest version.
So I am sorry to ask stupid things...
My set up is a Mac Pro with Logic and an iMac as a slave. Most of the VSL library is on the iMac.
Problem is like this:
Before the update it worked as follows: I would start VE Pro on the iMac. Then I would start Logic on the Mac Pro, open a software instrument track in Logic and choose under Audio Instruments VE Pro stereo. The server interface window would appear, I would click connect and on the iMac an empty (preset?) instance of VE instruments Pro would appear, and I could start loading instruments and everything would work fine.
After the update: I run the same procedure as above, I click connect (this works), but now there appears no empty instance of VE Instruments Pro on the iMac. Only the little VE Pro server window that I started first is visible with no 'active instances'.
I probably do something wrong, but what?
I have to add that I also updated the eLicenser Control Center. Maybe my library is not recognised anymore now?. Should I run the Library Manager? (I did: rescan existing, did not help).
I hope somebody can help...
Greetings,
Gerard
