Hallo!
First of all congratulations for Vienna Instruments Pro!
It has exceeded my expectations by far. After going through all the videos and checking out most features, I can say that vi pro is loaded with meaningful stuff that will quickly become an integral part of my workflow.
I understand that it is also a developping project.
Here are some observations:
- Would it be possible to asign a controller for the root key of the matrix scale? The whole business of copying up to 12 matrixes with all different root keys seems unelegant. Moreover, in my case, I want to try to keep all the good things that vi pro is doing compatible with vst expression in Cubase 5. Workflow is super important!
I guess, that most people work out finer details later in the course of project. I mean, when I decide that my piece needs some face lifitng in the tuning area, it should not affect my key switch organisation!
- Of course the choices of scales could be enlarged. But then it seems obvious that they should also be edible!
- There has been a very interesting discussion about Hermode tuning a while ago. Is there any chance that this will be implied in the near future? It seems just like the easiest way to improve the overall sound of an orchestra.
Of course all those arabic turkish and just intonation scales are extremely important for certain types of music. (I played yesterday with the solo cello and some arabic tuning. It was just hilarious, how real it sounded and it changed the instrument into something totally different.)
-In Vienna Ensemble pro, I noticed that I could not change the scale in channel 2 after the scale was set in channel 1.
-Does that mean that the scale applies to the whole v pro instance?
