VIP is gobsmacking - I am blown away.
How will it integrate with MIR. Presumably if I have purchased VIP then when I open instruments in MIR they will be VIPs.

so VI Pro cannot be used in MIR ??
You could use VI PRO as a "normal" VSTi plugin in the current MIR version.
But an upcoming update MIR version, which will be avaiable very soon, will fully integrate VI PRO, so that you can use global master tune and sample optimise functions with VI PRO.

You guys really outdid yourselves. VI Pro has many more features than I would have ever imagined! It makes me want to get more VSL Libraries......
One question: does VI Pro work with VE Pro 64 bit in OSX? [B]
VI Pro is amazing, works always stable and the Flugelhorn is a good addition to my brass sets. Thanks for this work. VI Pro works excellent in my Logic 9.1.1 64bit and it feels like that the sample instruments can be played better than in VI Player. The legatos sound more natural. I am very happy about all these things.
THANKS. GREAT WORK!
Great job on the new Instrument Pro player. Just one question. Have you had any issues with Macs. I can't get it to learn MIDI, like keyswitching and CC's.
Talk about new life to my Vienna's library

Is this true for MIR SE too? Because my MIR SE doesn't see Vi Pro as an VSTi ...
(I tried rescanning the VSTi folder, but it doesn't show up in MIR's menu)
Probably user error ... ?

Right now you have to rename the plugin Dll in your VST-folder to get it working in Vienna Mir (and Mir SE). Just rename "Vienna Instruments Pro x64.dll" to "VIP x64.dll" and it will show up as an additional instrument source in Mir.
Or wait a few days, then we'll provide you with an update of Vienna Mir (&SE) that already includes VI Pro (and Optimize All & Mastertuning functionality).
Edit:
Please keep in mind that a Mir project using the renamed plugin only loads properly as long as this plugin exists. Switching projects to the integrated VI Pro might be a hassle, so i'd suggest to use this solution only for testing and not for a large project.

Great, I'll wait gladly, there is enough to try out in the meantime with ViPro - thank you again for the wonderful software!
Hi Florian,
"....we'll provide you with an update of Vienna MIR (&SE) that already includes VI Pro.."
...I have Vienna MIR and was about to purchase VI Pro, but does your message mean that the next Vienna MIR (&SE) update will include VI Pro (and therefore I may not need to purchase VI Pro separately ?)
Many thanks for all these great products,
Brian
