    Hello I want to buy a used version of the CUBE which dates from 2003. This version has never been installed, it is quite new. I'd like to know if I'll have updates to install for it to work? and the price of these updates? On the other hand, can someone tell me if the instruments work with FINALE, or if I should make other software like NUENDO to manage sounds VSL Cube? Thank you for your help, I must complete the sale within a few days.

    Hello slurp,

    there were two products available 7 years ago: The FIRST EDITION and the PRO EDITION, both consisted of the "Orchestral Cube" and the "Performance Set" and have been discontinued about 3 years ago (the First Edition was sold out earlier).

    2 thoughts regarding your purchase:

    - First of all, you need to make sure that this product has never been registered on our website, because a license transfer of the old Sample Libraries is NOT possible.

    2 - There are no upgrade paths from the First Edition or PRO Edition to the Vienna Instruments available, which lowers the value of these old products, and could leave you stuck with updates of the used sample player software (GigaStudio doesn´t exist anymore, the Performance Tool in Logic 9´s  EXS24 cannot be edited anymore.....).

    If you have further questions, please don´t hesitate to contact , so that we can look into this transfer and can also help with your options!

    I just want to avoid a possibly big disappointment.
