i can unveil as much as all visitors on NAMM and Musikmess have already seen:
due to a new compression method and streaming engine you can have loaded and play one distance (out of three) with all velocity layers on a 4 GB XP32 core2duo 2.5 GHz computer.

sorry, but i can´t wait to know... will my mac g5 quad be fast enough? and if you say one needs 4 GB of RAM for all velocity layers, does that mean that all adressable RAM is eaten up by imperial? so that practically no (very few) additional vsl-instruments can be used on my computer?
or will the newly designed engine be able to adress separate additional RAM apart from the RAM used by the "old-school" vsl engine? my mac is equipped with 12 GB of RAM, so this would of course be quite nice for me.
