Appassionata: How to create a faster legato line?
I just installed my first Vienna Instrument: Appassionata standard. Need some advice on how to create a fast and still smooth legato. Do you layer the sustain patch with something else? Or use the perf rep or maybe perf trill from the extended lib? Thanks in advance, Hakan

Thanks, Paul!
I'll check it out, guess I have to get the ext version sooner than I thought. Also, I have a Steinberg key, so I don't have the demo asset for the extended version of this lib. Instead of me searching for tips like yours all over the place, can you point me to a tutorial of any kind with some depth to it?Regards,
Hakan

Thanks a lot, Paul!
That's fast.
The 30-day period, is that from today or from the date of installation?
Regarding the initial question about legato, I'm exploring the software and realize there are lots of possibilities.
I have updated to the latest version of Vienna Instruments, that fixed some issues, and a simple crossfade between the sustain vib and the fast legato goes a long way...Those sounds are awesome, can't wait to install the Solo Strings libraries.

demo mode #2 licenses are date licenses.
in a first step you download it to your key (where the respective standard licnese already resides) and in a second step you activate the datelicense.
from that moment the 30 days start to run - in case you run out of demo starts during those 30 days you can reload the number of starts anytime running the acrivate date license wizard again.

and remember: only a CRAY can run an endless loop in just three seconds. -
