  • Alternation mode

    I noticed the following...

When I program a chain of key switches with the chain mode of the alternation mode it seems to work fine.
But then when I play back what I just recorded it doesn't play back properly.

If I set it to "bypass" it only plays the current articulation.
If I keep it on the chain mode I have to make sure it is at the beginning of the chain (the start) otherwise it plays from where ever it is currently at.

    Does this mean that:
    1) my entire orchestra has to be put back to the beginning of the chain in order to hear it right?

    2) how in the world are you supposed to record a 40 min symphony with a very small limited matrix? (you only get 144 notes before the chain must repeat???)

  • Simply record a keyswitch shortly before your repetition part is starting in your song.

  • I would suggest in a new version of the tool, that an option exists for having a very large number of matrix blocks to choose from. The default number could be kept small, but a small menu option for expanded matrix options would be nice for someone dealing with very complex songs.

  • I want to play hands free so I program a chain for 2-3 measures. Then I record those measures. Now I want to play it back. It does not play it back the way I just recorded it. This is a major set back and I don't see the use in hands free keyswitches.

On the other hand - when I manually key switch and record it. It plays back just like I played it in. Why can't it do the same with the hands free version??? (there is no way I can play 32nds at 180 and key switch at the same time)

Does that make my question more clear?
