  • Anyone ever used a DBX 120A Subharmonic Synth with VSL?

    Hi All,

So just wondering, anyone ever used a DBX 120A Subharmonic Synth with VSL?

    Thanks, Brian

  • Cubase has a vst Monologue that has a 'subbass' that works great.  It is inlcuded with Cubase.  Use it ALL the time.  not sure how much better the dbx could be?

  • The DBX 120A Subharmonic Synth is not an instrument like a Moog-Synthesizer, but actually an Exciter-effect for the low frequency range.

  • Hey all,

Well I got one (a good deal on a new one), but I rationalized the purchase through the Christmas budget so I can't use it until December.  [:P]  I'm really excited though and I can't wait to try it out on the bass drum, tam tam, appassionata string basses, etc! [:D]  I'll post a mix when I get a chance.
