    Hey guys. Been super busy but I have actually finished Joel Goldsmiths interview (Part II) and I'm now awaiting his approval before I can send it out. So apologies for the podcast being on hold still. However I have also been tinkering with my TODD AO mix template and believe (famous last words .. :P) that I've come up with a template that sounds pretty damned nice. . So I'll be updating the Tech Topic on my website as soon as I can. This is all for Logic Pro 8 and users of Altiverb. (Sorry guys .. but it's what I work with .. hoever I will post the VST settings and pics for users of other systems.) Breaking it down basically I'm using one Template to write the music and to give basic positions of instruments. Then one records the instruments to Audio and in a new Multitrack project which uses the TODD AO setup. I have a nice demo piece in works and I hope to get this all show on an upcoming podcast .. just wanted to give you heads up that I've not been idle and that I'm working on this pretty hard. . Hope everyones doing well and writing great music.

    The demo sounds pretty good! It is just Im looking for... but for Logic :( Im Cubase user. I'm anxious to get a version for cubase ;) Greetings from Spain.

    Well a Cubase version is not impossible .. that's why I provide the seperate Audio Units presets .. and if your not a Mac user at all there's also pictures of the settings used. Admittedly it's kinda guess work with going by pictures .. but one can do it. I have Cubase so perhaps I'll look into a Cubase version later. At the moment my new Template uses two templates .. one to compose in .. and one to mix with. When I'm settled in Canada I'll be able to work on this more.

     is your new template the one that is upon your website at the moment or is it still the old version?

    The new one I'm still working on .. It's basically an update to the TODD AO template I already had on the site. So yeah for now the one on the site is still the old version. When I get time I'll publish the newer one.

     I like your podcasts Hetoreyn, Ive listened to them when Ive worked out. When is the second part of interview with Jerry G comin out? Get on with it!

    Like your interviews though, you sound like an interested man... which most interviewers dont on many mediums.

    HEhe ... thanks. I'm sorry to keep you all waiting a little longer but the next show is coming along soon. I have plenty of topics now actually since performing my latest score I learned a few things I think would be interesting to pass on and let you all know some thoughts about (all to do with virtual room mixing). . The interview with Joel G. is still awaiting authorization but I'll give his assistant a pinch and ask him how it's going soon. I know they've been real busy lately with the new Stargate soundtracks so it will be a little bit longer before I get that published. But I'll get a show out as soon as I can. . Also .. I'm still in the Youth Hostel in Toronto right now .. so there's not a lot of places to sit quietly and record a show. However I'll be moving into a new home soon enough and I can start to set up shop again. Anyways .. I'll try to get the next show out soon.
