Need help....I'm not sure if it is a user error or vienna instruments error but every time I change the cell using key switching it messes up all my other patterns.....what am I doing wrong?

Hi,
you are probably mixing the keyswitches for the matrices (in the Matrix Assign window on the left hand side) with the keyswitches you can assign in the "Control Edit" Window.
This is a hierarchic system, so matrices will always be given a higher priority.
I might be wrong though, that´s just a shot in the blue - I´d need more details to find out more,

thanks for the response Paul. I have left everything to the default settings for the matrices and control edit keyswitch option. I'm using the piano roll to trigger different cells but it changes. It think it might have something to do with moving the midi keyboards octave position to access higher and lower notes. could this be the issue?

Hi,
that could be the reason. Matrix keyswitches are "normally" on C1 upwards, whereas the Horizontal Cells are being switched from C2 upwards by default (NOT for instruments in the lower range, though!!).
You should take a quick look at our Video Tutorials, this will help a lot to get a grip on the system!
If you can, you should get an 88 keys keyboard - or a second keyboard, just for keyswitching. If that´s not possible, stay with one instrument in the beginning, until you have a better overview.
