Glissandos in chamber strings

I'm still very much a novice with vienna instruments but was wondering how to do long glissandos . When i fidgit with the pitchbend it does'nt do anything. SOS any thoughts more than welcome!

Hi Noose

The Chamber Strings come with some Interval Performances:

10 PERF INTERVAL

Legato Portamento

Legato on the same string Zigane (gipsy) Marcato Spiccato

---

You will get "Glissandi" with Portamento and Zigane.

If you use them you have to take them as they are.

You can't make them faster or slower.

As with the normal legato samples: Let overlap the first note into the

second one a bit and you will get the glissando.

These glissandos are natural ones. So they sound very good and emotional

If you want to use the pitch-bend effect you have to take into account

that you only have a range of +/- 2 halftones. So that could be not enough

for some cases. Further it sounds maybe not as good as you expect it.
