    Apassionatta II eq tips.....hi.......Did you guys "pre-eq" the Apass2 strings?.........If not any tips? I'm cutting circa 3.5 db @ 6200.....does this sound familiar?.....much appreciated.....great library!....SvK

    SvK - just today I was mixing a VERY soft cue (using AP2) and found 4900 @3db roll off (mid Q) did just what I wanted (polish off the 'strident' nature inherent with the mutes - at least for me / this cue, this worked great (too much of course it got a bit dull).   As usual - season to taste. [:)]

    Thanx rob......sounds like we are both in the same ball park........ As a reference for a perfect hollywood sordino ...download from itunes music store........."What Lies Benath"....."DL Pani Attack"...major 3d intervals all alone violins....I've come to the conclusion that the 1st library violin sordinos are better suited for very low violins and high violins are much better with the Apass II sordinos........ SvK

    TEAM VIENNA..... I love Apass II....Except for one thing............The vibrato patch is way to "vibrato" (it's useful for extreme expression notes)........BUT a much more mild vibrato would be very useful, since the progressive vib is to non-vibrato at the beginning....SvK

    Our Orchestral Strings are played with more controlled, less appassionate vibrato (if you allow the pun ;-) ...).

    Dietz.... I know....but they are not the Apass Sordinos (less strings, different sound) SvK
